The Big 5 Vibes Guys

I’ll be presenting a concert celebrating the 5 main vibes players who have made an indelible mark on the history of Jazz Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Bobby Hutcherson, Gary Burton, and Mike Mainieri, with various honorable mentions. I’ll also take time to discuss certain techniques and stylistic attributes of these artists while performing pieces that are associated with them. I’ll be joined by Scott McQuade on piano, Edwin Garcia on bass, and David Bowen on drums.
